After connecting the recorder to a monitor I only see the startup logo
Cause
Like any device with a graphical output, recorders offer a graphical interface that can be set at various resolutions. If the recorder menu has a resolution set that your monitor or TV cannot display, no image will appear. You need to find out the native resolution of your monitor or TV and set this value in the device menu.
Solution
- Connect the recorder to a different monitor or TV that can display the currently set resolution, then change the resolution in the device menu to a value supported by the original monitor or TV.
- Open the device's web configuration and change the resolution there.
