PATRONUM security cameras are designed for outdoor mounting, so their regular maintenance is very simple and consists mainly of these tasks, which we recommend performing as needed but at least once a year.
- Clean the lens cover and IR illuminator with a special solution and a cloth.
- Wipe the entire camera chassis with a damp cloth.
- Check the camera's cables and connectors, especially for signs of oxidation.
- Remove cobwebs. If spiders are common, soak a small piece of foam in repellent and place it under the camera shield or near the lens. This significantly reduces insects.
- Perform other maintenance steps in line with the product manual.
- Update IP camera firmware to ensure security and stability.
