How do I configure the device
For correct operation the device must be connected to the LAN (internet), have free space on the FTP server and have storage on motion detection enabled.
- Sign in to the configuration interface and go to the relevant FTP setting.
- Tick Enable FTP for server storage.
- FTP server — fill in the IP address of your FTP server.
- Port — fill in the FTP server port (typically 21).
- Username and password — fill in FTP server credentials.
- File upload — set the folder on the FTP server where photos will be stored.
- Channel — select the channels you want to send to FTP.
- Week and time slots — set when snapshots may be sent to FTP.
The TEST button verifies the connection to the FTP server. A text file confirming the test will be saved to the chosen FTP folder.
